Designed to relieve the social isolation of adults with developmental disabilities, Friends Like Me offers afternoon and evening recreational activities and games that encourage friendship, conversation, and healthy socialization.
Providing a full calendar of classes to participants at The Arc and their community peers, the program offers a variety of classes, dances, games, movie nights, weekly dining, and drama workshops.
For more information about Friends Like Me or to learn more about participating, contact Lance Scott, Friends Like Me Program Manager, at lscott@thearcsf.org.
"Everyday Heroes" is a new shelter-in-place short film created by The Arc, Friends Like Me, and SF Access folks.
